Strengthening Internationalization, Unissula's Faculty of Law Opens International Classes This Year

"International Classes will be offered in all study programs at FH Unissula, namely the Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws (MIH), Master of Notary (MKn), and Doctor of Laws (PDIH) program in the 2025/2026 academic year," explained Dr. Jawade Hafidz, SH, MH, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Unissula, Saturday (May 31, 2025). Dr. Jawade Hafidz made this statement during an alumni dialogue at the Unissula Faculty of Law. The event was part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations of Unissula Faculty of Law. He ensured that the International Class program does not abandon the basic principles of learning at Unissula, but rather strengthens legal education. The program will be conducted in two languages: Indonesian and English. Furthermore, the teaching staff (lecturers) are local, with some also brought in from academics or legal experts from abroad. Students also come from within the country and abroad. "To implement this International Class, all study programs are very united and have agreed to implement this program," he explained. The alumni meeting was attended by Dr. Herry Wiyanto, SH, MH, Head of Region I, Sub-Directorate of Prosecution at the Directorate of Terrorism and Transnational Crimes at Jampidum, who is also the General Chair of the Unissula Faculty of Law Alumni Association; Dr. Ahmad Hadi Prayitno, SH, MH; Dr. Fatiroh, SH, MH, MKn, Chair of the Unissula Semarang Master of Notary Alumni Association (IKANOTSULA); and Wisnu Rishsydianto, SH, MH, a lawyer from Central Java. Dean Dr. Jawade Hafidz, SH, MH, stated that the sharing session with alumni was conducted to provide input in designing the International Class curriculum. Meanwhile, Dr. Herry Wiyanto stated that, in essence, alumni support the internationalization of Unissula Faculty of Law. "Because Unissula's role is indeed appropriate in resolving international issues, such as human trafficking, and others," he explained. Meanwhile, as part of the 62nd anniversary celebrations and to support internationalization, on June 18 and 19, 2025, the Unissula Law Faculty will hold an International Conference featuring legal experts from 13 countries. These include the Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, France, Egypt, Italy, Uzbekistan, and others. Ten experts will be present at Unissula in person. Meanwhile, today's event also announced the winners of the 62nd Milad Futsal Competition of Unissula Law Faculty, which was attended by 32 teams from 32 high schools, vocational schools, and Islamic high schools across Central Java. It was also enlivened with entertainment and prize distribution attended by lecturers, Deans, vice deans, heads of study programs, study program secretaries, employees and students of FH Unissula.
