The AppliedEdu ASEAN Private University Ranking is a Singapore-based ranking system for private higher education institutions in the Southeast Asian region. The assessment comprises six key indicators: the quality of teaching and learning (weighted at 40 percent), graduate employability (20 percent), institutional reputation (10 percent), research (10 percent), community engagement (10 percent), and internationalization (10 percent).

This composition demonstrates that a higher education institution's competitiveness is not determined solely by academic activities. The quality of the student learning experience, the readiness of graduates to enter the workforce, research productivity, contributions to society, and international networks are also vital components of the evaluation.

For Unissula, this achievement serves as recognition of its ongoing efforts to develop high-quality higher education. It also acts as a motivation to further strengthen the quality of learning, boost research productivity, expand international collaborations, and implement community service programs that provide tangible benefits to society.

Established on May 20, 1962, Unissula has consistently developed an educational approach that integrates science and technology with Islamic values.

Ranking fifth nationally and 34th within the ASEAN region provides a significant foundation for Unissula to advance further.
