This routine program aims to bring students together with experts from the industrial and policy worlds. More than 600 students from undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as lecturers and faculty leaders, attended the event. The event took place in the FEB Hall Unissula on Wednesday (May 28, 2025). Vice Dean 1 of FEB Unissula, Dr. E. Drs. Marno Nugroho, MM, emphasized the importance of the practical lecture. "We hope students will listen to the material presented by practitioners to broaden their insights in the financial sector, which can drive business growth," he said on behalf of the Dean of FEB Unissula. He further stated that the practical lectures are one of Unissula's FEB strategic efforts to bridge theory with practice, particularly in the fields of economics and finance. Next, Mega Nazaretha, Senior Analyst at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Central Java, presented a strategy for developing competitive MSMEs as a new source of economic growth in Central Java. Her office introduced a digital payment system as an accelerator of economic growth. "However, the convenience of digital systems can also be a threat if business actors don't understand the risks and legalities. Don't let it happen that I need it, and there's convenience, and I take it without careful consideration," she stressed. The second speaker, Enjelina Intan Prima Dewi, an Economist at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Central Java, spoke about the role of investment in improving the Central Java economy. She explained that BPS data shows that Central Java's economy experienced a decline in 2020 due to the pandemic. It then rebounded in 2021, stagnating in the range of 4.96–5.3% in subsequent years. Also present were Deputy Dean 2 of FEB Unissula Dr Zaenal Alim Adiwijaya SE MSi, Head of Study Program and Secretary of S1 and D3 Study Programs, as well as lecturers in the FEB environment Unissula.
