College of Medicine, Korea University invited the delegates from Master Program of Biomedics Unissula. This invitation was as a response upon the collaboration initiative proposed by Master Program of Biomedics. The scopes of proposed collaboration include research, visiting professor, and student exchange.

Prof.Dr.dr.H.Taufiqqurachman,M.Kes.,Sp.And, the head of Master Program of Biomedics; Dr.Ir.Hj.Titiek Soemarawati, M.Kes, the secretary of Master Program of Biomedics; and Putri R Ayuningtyas, the international office officer were appointed to meet the invitation. The delegates were welcome by Prof.Hong Sik Lee, MD, Ph.D, the Dean of College of Medicine, Korea University; Prof. Eul-Sik Yoon, MD, Ph.D, the head of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery Department; Wong Sun, MD, Ph.D, the Associate Dean for Research & Global Outreach; and Lee Yong Jin, the External Cooperation/Academic Registrar. KUMC is a member of Global Higher Education Consortium associated in U21 where KUMC is the only delegate from Asia.

In the meeting, KUCM expressed their interest in opening the possibility for collaboration with Master Program of Biomedics Unissula, particularly in the areas of research, professor and student exchange and joint research publication. During the visit, the delegates were invited to see KUCM teaching facilities and teaching hospital. KUCM is widly recognized as the best referral teaching hospital in South Korea. As a follow up, Unissula will send their students to visit KUCM in March 2018. They are scheduled to visit plastic and reconstructive surgery department, to have a lecture and to do a campus tour where in this case, KUCM will become the host of the program. In addition, there will be an MoU signing between Master Program of Biomedics, Unissula and College of Medicine, KUCM. This signing was executed by the officials of the Universities, Dr.dr.Setyo Trisnadi,SH.,Sp.KF (Unissula) and Prof. Hong Sik Lee (KUCM).
