Tri Wahyu Samiyono, an undergraduate student of Islamic Education (Tarbiyah), Faculty of Islamic Studies UNISSULA won the 3rd place of MTQ in National Qur’an competition 2019 in UNY Yogyakarta (26-28/4).This competition was participated by state and private universities in Indonesia.
Tri Wahyu expressed his gratitude for all the blessings “We are grateful for our achievement. We are very proud for being able to bring the name of Unissula’s Faculty of Islamic Studies to the national level. This achievement drives me to be successful in other competitions,” said Tri Wahyu .
Still, Tri Wahyu added “I hope to join International Tilawatil Qur’an in order to develop (the skill) that I have.”
When asked about his preparation for the competition, he said he practiced routinely, maintained his diet, and did some exercises..
