The library of Sultan Agung Islamic University (Unissula) Semarang held an annual working meeting (11/3/2023). The meeting, which was attended by all library staff, aimed to discuss the work program and strategy of the Unissula library in 2023.

Head of Library Dr. M Ja’far Shodiq MSi Ak CA explained his focus in 2023. “Some of the programs that we focus on include increasing the collection of books and literature, optimizing library services, and improving literacy and information skills for library staff and library users,” he said.

To achieve these goals, some of the work programs that will be carried out include procuring new books and literature to enrich the library collection, as well as optimizing library services through mobile applications and library websites.

In addition, Unissula library will also improve the literacy and information skills of library staff and users through training programs, workshops, and seminars by inviting resource persons who are experts in their fields.

During the meeting, library staff also discussed efforts to improve the utilization of technology and digital transformation in facilitating access to information and library services for users. In this effort, Unissula library will improve online services, so that users can utilize library services easily and quickly through electronic devices from anywhere and anytime.
