Allah revealed the Qur’an as a form of affection for humanity, said K.H. Wahyudin in commemoration of the Nuzulul Qur’an on the campus of Unissula (5/22). “The Qur’an is a guide for all human beings so that they know the right path and obtain goodness and avoid the prohibited so they can avoid evil,” said Wahyudin.

According to him, the Muslim holy book consists of three aspects. The first aspect is monotheism, the second is stories, and the third contains the afterlife. “Stick to the Qur’an because there is no other guide to life that is better than the Qur’an,” Wahyudin said.

He further gave the example of those who have pure heart as mentioned in the Qur’an such as Prophet Adam, Noah, Prophet Ibrahim whose sons were Prophet Isaac and Prophet Ismail, and the noble Imron family.

The Qur’an is the greatest miracle revealed to the Great Prophet Muhammad SAW and as the best guide so that we won’t get lost in life. The Qur’an is very unique and tested for its truth. Allah invited all those who doubt the truth of the Qur’an to make just one surah similar to the Qur’an as Allah’s challenge in surah Al-Baqarah verse 23 “And if you (remain) in doubt about the Qur’an that we revealed to our servant (Muhammad), make a surah (only) similar to the Qur’an and invite your helpers besides Allah, if you are righteous.”
