Unissula held a Grand Religious Study with the artists who are members of the young sakinah mawadah warohmah (Musyawarah) which was held at the auditorium of Unissula campus in Semarang (15/3). The artists were Arie Untung, Erwin Raja, Mario Irwansyah, Teuku Wisnu, Dude Herlino, Natta Reza, Cupink Topan, Ricky Harun, Dimas Seto, Adrian Maulana, Ory Vitrio, Ustadz Oemar Mita, Ustadz Wijayanto, Ustad Umar Faqqihuddin, dan Habib Muhammad Al Muthohhar.

The chairman of the Musawarah, Dude Herlino, stated that one of the important objectives of this event was to improve Islamic unity, to keep in touch with each other, to love each other, to improve the spirit of da’wah to encourage each other in kindness.

“At present, the threat of drug abuse has been very serious in attacking all groups. Therefore, it is very important for all of us to remind one another to stay away from drugs, “said Dude.

While another artist, Riki Harun expressed that his spirit for hijrah was because he was driven by a passion to be a better person. “I want to be a better person and encourage others to also get better,” said Riki

Meanwhile Ustad Wijayanto encouraged 5000 participants who were present to choose good friends because the atmosphere and intonation were important in influencing us in the environment.

According to Mario Irwansyah, it is very important to strengthen the intention to become a better person. “We can pray together but sometimes we are still lazy. But if we have unanimous intentions then actually everyone can pray in congregation,” said Mario.

On that occasion, 275,000,000 waqf results from the sale of tickets of this event for the construction of the Baitussalam II mosque was also given which was presented by the Rector of Unissula Semarang, Ir Prabowo Setiyawan MT PhD, to the representative of Baitussalam mosque, Ustad Umar Faqihuddin.
