Today, collage of medicine is applying 2 different curriculums simultaneously. The first one refers to KIPDI II with the discipline-based teaching and learning method, and applies for student of 2004 and before. The second method to KIPDI III with Problem-Base-Learning method.
Building and Facilities
The collage has three-floor buildings for teaching and learning activities, including rooms for Small Group Discussion (SGD), Skill Labs, Administration and other activities. One building named as building A, is used for lecturers, SGD, Skills Labs, Examination, libraries and extracurricular activities. The second building-named as building B- is used for laboratories, teaching hospital, and a meeting hall. The other building named as building C- is used for offices, staff rooms, and laboratories.
Laboratories
Laboratories available in the faculty are: Biology / Bimolecular, physics, chemistry / Biochemistry, Anatomy, Microbiology, Pharmacology and therapy, Parasitology, Clinical Phatology, and Anatomy Pathology. All laboratories are equipped with rooms for SGD, Skill labs, administration, support system for eac courses as microscope, VCD Player, television, and others.
Libraries
There are 2 libraries at the collage of Medicine of UNISSULA. The first one is book library, and the second one is electronic library. The electronic library an accommodate for 100 person, equipped with 50 units of computers with internet access, electronic journals and interactive CDs. While the book library which has capacity of 100 person completed with books of medicines, journals both domestic and international.
