The Unissula debate team won third place in the Indonesian Student Debate Competition which was held on July 15-19, 2019 at Airlangga University Surabaya. They were previously runners up in the Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI) at the LLDIKTI Region VI in Central Java at Veteran Bangun Nusantara University, Sukoharjo, June 26-28, 2019.

The Unissula debate team consisted of Inkaana Bi Haqqi (Civil Engineering), Chandra M. Yusuf Hidayatullah (Medical Doctor), and Veren Ahya Ruskita Vitun (Management). This achievement is significant enough to continue to maintain the tradition of Unissula debate champion at the national level. The Unissula debate team in the last three years has continued to record some remarkable achievements by being able to excel at the national level.

Inkaana stated that his team had prepared optimally before entering the competition at the national level. “We prepared ourselves early and thank God we were able to show maximum performance in this prestigious competition. Moreover, this is a rare opportunity that we must not waste in giving achievements to our almamater,” said Inkaana.
