After obtaining higher education accreditation (APT) with rank “A” on March 27, 2019, now Unissula aims to excel in the coming APT in 2023. This was said by Rector Ir. Prabowo Setiyawan, M.T., Ph.D. in a work meeting (29-30 / 7) at the Kaligawe campus. “The challenges ahead are very heavy but the opportunity to achieve superior accreditation is very possible if it is prepared seriously from now on,” explained Prabowo.

Therefore, he encouraged 11 deans at this university to prepare concrete steps towards superior accreditation. “I am sure that if the deans seriously prepare for superior accreditation, they will not be able to sleep well, thus this meeting will be important to develop the strategic steps needed” added Prabowo.

There are several important points to get a superior accreditation, especially in meeting the necessary requirements that must be met with a predetermined score such as the requirements of the quality assurance system assessment points, study program accreditation scores, quality assurance assessments, and evaluations of scientific publications in journals.

The meeting on the preparation of the operational plans, led by Prof. Dr. Widodo, was attended by university leaders, faculties, bureaus, directorates, and units.
