Having All Its Programs Accredited “A”, Unissula’s Faculy of Law Ready to Give the Best Education Service

The Unissula’s Faculty of Law (FH), which was established in 1963, is now increasingly developed into one of the best Law Faculties in Indonesia. Today, FH Unissula has four study programs, all of which are accredited “A”, namely Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws, Master in Notarial Laws, and Doctoral Program in Laws.

The “A” accreditation of Doctoral Program in Laws is achieved based on BAN PT No. 1230 / SK / BAN-PT / SURV-BDG / IV / 2019. The Dean of Faculty of Law Unissula, Prof. Dr. Gunarto, S.H., M.Hum. expressed his gratitude for the achievement of the accreditation. “We are very grateful for the gift of the “A” accreditation of Doctoral Program in Law  that we have just achieved, this is a great gift from Allah SWT, we are also thankful for the support of the Foundation, the University and all parties who provide support for these positive achievements” Gunarto said in accreditation “A” celebration in the Unissula’s Faculty of Law  building, Jl Raya Kaligawe (3/5).

Up until now, the Unissula’s Faculty of Law has graduated many students who spread throughout Indonesia and even abroad and worked in various professional fields such as law practitioners, law enforcers, government and private officials, entrepreneurs, educators (including lecturers in various universities) . In addition, there are many graduates who continue their studies at the higher level of education (Master and Doctoral Program) both domestically and abroad and some have already graduated / completed their education at the Doctoral level..

As a fairly senior faculty, Faculty of Law Unissula has various competitive advantages including having a very complete programs ranging from undergraduate, graduate, up to post-graduate level, also providing the international class program (ICP) in the Bachelor of Law program. Students in this class come from various backgrounds and have ample opportunities to participate in student exchanges at various partner universities abroad.

In addition, Unissula’s Faculty of Law has various majors including cyber law, criminal law, civil law, international law, constitutional law, and administrative law. It also develops students’ extra-curricular through the publication of Suprema magazine, student study group that concentrate on conducting scientific studies in the field of law, nature lovers club of the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Law’s Sports Forum, Faculty’s dakwah institution, choirs, etc.

In addition, Unissula’s Faculty of Law has various representative facilities, such as a mock-trial room that is representative for trial practice, a modern and representative library, and a variety of student workspaces with sets of computers.

The Unissula’s Faculty of Law cooperates with government and private institutions, such as the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), prosecutors, courts, Judicial Commission of the Republic of Indonesia, Constitutional Court, National Police Commission, Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Central Java Religious High Court, Indonesian Advocates Professional Organization (PERADI), Indonesian Advocates Association (IKADIN), Indonesian Notary Association (INI), Association of Land Deed Makers (IPPAT), Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI), etc.

Faculty of Law also collaborates with various universities abroad to improve academic quality in the fields of education, research, community service, publications in international journals, joint book writing, as well as student and lecturer exchanges.

It also recruits graduates who are ready to work in various fields of work such as: Prosecutors, Police, Notaries, Advocates, Judges, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Legislature, Judicial Commission, Corruption Eradication Commission, Constitutional Court, Audit Board, Banking, Civil Servants, and Entrepreneurs.
