Since April 2019, Unissula students consisting of Wa Ode Anastasia Septiana, Aisyah Ardani, Muqtafa Amirul Wildan, Cahrudin, and Ari Setiawan have been conducting prayer coaching for 7 and 8 grade deaf Muslim students with disabilities at Special Public Middle School (SMP-LB) Semarang.

According to the team leader, Aisyah, this coaching program combined the concept of Fun Visual Learning and the Use of the Vibrating Shalat Bracelet. Fun Visual Learning is a fun learning concept and focuses on using visuals, such as pictures, videos and interesting games. Fun Visual Learning was carried out to facilitate hearing impaired participants in capturing, understanding, and practicing prayer materials properly.

The learning activities were then complemented by the socialization of the use of prayer shakes bracelets (GGS) to facilitate participants in carrying out congregational prayers. This activity is planned to be carried out until August 2019. After participating in this activity, participants are expected to be able to understand the values of prayer and practice it every day properly and correctly.

GGS itself is a pair of bracelets that were created to help people with hearing disabilities in carrying out congregational prayers. The idea of this activity arose when the Unissula team conducted a GGS trial at Semarang State High School. At that time, the Head of Public Relations of SMP-SLB, Haris, stated that students with disabilities also often had difficulty in carrying out congregational prayers. It is hoped that the GGS will not only be a prototype, but can be really useful especially in SLB Negeri Semarang.

GGS was included in the Student Creativity Program (PKM) Community Service funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education that was an advanced program of copyright initiatives in the form of prototype prayer shakes bracelet.
