Establishing Familiarity, Central Java Regional Police Visit Unissula

The Central Java Regional Police group led by the Central Java Police Directorate General of East Java Police Commissioner, Eko Widiyanto SIK held a friendly visit to the Unissula campus which was received directly by Vice Rector I, Drs. Bedjo Santoso, M.T., Ph.D. and Vice Rector III, M. Qomaruddin, Ph.D. on the Kaligawe campus (8/7). Also present at the occasion was AKBP HM Fahrudin, S.H., M.H., (Head of the Intelligence Polrestabes Semarang), Commissioner Zainuddin Arifin, S.Sos., M.M., M.H. (Genuk Police Chief).

Eko Widiyanto conveyed that the purpose of his visit was to further familiarize and enhance the cooperation between the Indonesian National Police and the community, including with higher education institutions such as universities. “Cooperation and synergy with the community are very important, and there is no exception with various higher education institutions such as universities. We hope that students and other academics community can continue to work together and give advice, so that the National Police can provide the best service to the community,” said Eko Widiyanto.

Meanwhile, Bedjo Santoso welcomed the Central Java Regional Police visit in the series of 73th Bhayangkara Anniversary and fully supported the National Police’s efforts to improve the best service to the community. “We congratulate and wish the success on the 73rd Bhayangkara Anniversary, hopefully the Police effort to realize its vision and mission to create public security and neatness, law enforcement, protection, and service to the community can be achieved and facilitated by Allah SWT,” said Bedjo Santoso.

Also present at the occasion included the Dean of Faculty of Islamic Studies, Muhtar Arifin, M.Lib. and other Unissula officials.
