Unissula organized a briefing for the 76th graduation participants held at the auditorium of Unissula campus (16/10). One of the speakers who attended the occasion was General Chair of the Indonesian Coconut Fiber Industry Association, Elfi Ramli.

He invited Unissula graduation participants to be creative and sensitive to take advantage of business opportunities even from trivial matters. “Some people consider coconut fiber to be useless, but actually has a lucrative business potential,” said Elfi Ramli.

Still according to Elfi Ramli “Coconut fibers are produced through a simple production process, but they can make a lot of money. The development of coconut fiber business is very potential,”said the alumni of the Faculty of Economics, Unissula, generation of ’82.

He will help the people who live on the coast and want to do coconut fiber business. Coconut fiber can be processed into car seats and planting media in Japan. While in Italy, coconut fiber is used as a horse bed and fertilizer.

“I remind prospective graduates not to be afraid of entrepreneurship. “The five keys to successful entrepreneurship are productivity, quality, market, distribution, and funding,” he concluded in front of 1641 prospective graduates.
