International Students Interested in Studying at Unissula

The Darul Amanah Kendal Islamic Boarding School held an educational visit to Unissula led by Mufti Haris SPdI and was received directly by Vice Rector III Muhammad Qomaruddin MSc PhD (23/10) at the Kaligawe Campus.

On this occasion, Darul Amanah brought a group consisting of domestic students and 38 selected international students from Afghanistan. In his remarks, Mufti Haris said that students from Afghanistan were attending a three-month short course in Darul Amanah from September 28 to December 28, 2018 in collaboration with the Indonesian Ulama Council.

Still according to Mufti Haris, students who were still at the high school level are studying in Indonesia at the initiative of Vice President Jusuf Kalla to study in Indonesia regarding culture, harmony, diversity, religious tolerance, harmony and peace in multiculturalism. They were invited to various universities to see the prospects for education and opportunities for scholarships as preparation for education after they graduated from high school level.

Meanwhile Muhammad Qomaruddin welcomed the wish and stated that the eleven faculties were ready to welcome international students from various countries according to the procedures that had been carried out. He also added that currently Unissula also accepts international students from Netherlands and Thailand.

Through its international education network, Unissula also sends students and lecturers annually in the form of student and staff exchanges to study at overseas partner universities such as Dongseo University Korea, Rotterdam University Netherlands and leading university universities in Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand and many more.
