Faculty of Medicine of Sultan Agung Islamic University (FK Unissula) invites Professors from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) in Visiting professor program. In this program, Prof. Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar PhD from the Faculty of Medicine and Emergency Science USIM had the opportunity to initiate the program initiated by the two universities. This program adds to the cooperation activities that have existed since 2015.

In the welcoming ceremony that took place at Ibnu Rusyd Unissula Building (5/2), the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr Setyo Trisnadi SpKF SH first introduced FK Unissula which is included in the 40 best medical faculties in Indonesia. Having an Islamic Hospital (RSI) of Education with a predicate of plenary, this hospital is also the first to use the first islamic management in Indonesia. Dr. Setyo hopes that Visiting professor program can increase academic and non-academic potentials in FK environment as well as add the writings of FK lecturers.

The event continued with the presentation of a series of Visiting professor activities by the Head of the Unit of Cooperation and International Affairs of FK, Putri Ayu RA SPsi MHPSY The activities that have been scheduled for Visiting professor are presented to several Head of Study Program attended to be followed up. He expects the cooperation that has been established between FK UNISSULA and USIM to be continuously improved both from the form of activity and its effectiveness.

Closing the event, Prof Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar PhD said that this activity will bring many benefits for both universities. He also introduced the Faculty of Medicine and the USIM Emergency Science that integrates Naqli and Aqli in the medical world. Professor who is also Chairman of LGBT Studies Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia is hoping that at the end of the program will be closed with Joint research activities between himself and the faculty of Unissula FK

The event which was also attended by Office of International Affairs team was ended with a photo session together by the participants in attendance. In his statement, Head of Office of International Affairs Unissula Muna Yastuti madrah, MA hopes that the program can be utilized to the maximum as part of the spirit of internationalization Unissula. He added that the activity could be able to induce the spirit of Unissula’s civitas to work in global scope.
