The Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) Unissula sent three students to take part in the student exchange program to Japan’s Tokushima University on November 2, 2018. They are Rifandy Hanifatunissa, Rohmatu Widya Ningrum and Intan Kumala Sari. They would attend Education there for 3 weeks.

The Dean of the faculty of dentidtry, Dr. Suryono, SH MM PhD, said that this student exchange program to Tokushima University was one form of FKG collaboration in the past three years. And this time, the student exchange is the third time.

“We sent three of our best students to study at Tokushima University, Japan. Previously, we also sent lecturers to continue their studies there.” Suryono said while accompanying the release of students to Japan.

He hoped that students could get more benefits from this education program and, in the future, we also hoped that cooperation with Tokushima University can be expanded with other study programs at Unissula

“Hopefully the students are able to take part in the education program well and add networks that will be useful if they continue their studies there. The coincidence will be the renewal of the MoU between FKG Unissula and Tokushima University. We also hope that later the collaboration can be expanded with other study programs so that it becomes collaboration between universities”.

Meanwhile, The Vice Rector I Drs Bedjo Santoso MT PhD told the three students to carry out a mission from Unissula.

“This student exchange to Japan brings several Unissula missions, i.e., First, globally University, it is by expanding students to study abroad; Second, Introducing Islamic values ​​to Japan and third, exchanging knowledge with students there,” said Vice Rector I of Unissula.

He also asked Drg. Andina Rizkia Putri Kusuma SpKG who was entrusted as a field of FKG collaboration to build a discussion about the expansion of cooperation into cooperation between universities as stated by the dean of FKG Unissula.

Also present at the release ceremony was the Vice Dean I of FKG, Dr. drg Yayun Siti Rochmah SpBM and Head of the Office of International Affairs Unissula, Riana Permatasari, MA, M.Pd.
