10 Unissula Students Depart to Three Countries

Unissula released ten students to join the student mobility program to Netherland, Malaysia and Korea. They are Safrina Sabina Salma from the Faculty of Economics and Kholidduja Qomari from the Faculty of Industrial Technology to Dongseo University, Korea. Dessy Mahartika from Faculty of Economics, Brahmadi Buana and Widya Utami Budiarti from the Faculty of Engineering to Rotterdam Applied Science (RUAS), Netherland. Vanesa Putri Santoso, Hartini Ervi Nurjanah, Heny Rizki Yanti, Izzah Sarirotun Nijwah and Ratna Eka Raharjo from Faculty of Economics to Kyungdong University.

The ten students were released by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Ir. M Haddin, M.T., accompanied by Head of International Cooperation & Affairs Unit Muna Yastuti Madrah, M.A., and lecturers from each faculty. They will go to college for a semester for a credit transfer program and one year for a double degree program with a scholarship program from a destination university.

“We hope you can learn well and get a positive experience for the development of science that you will share with other friends when you come home later. In addition you also become Unissula ambassadors in the campus and the country where you will you go to and keep the good name of the alma mater “explained Hadin.

Furthermore, Muna Yastuti Madrah explained that the students who join the double degree program will get two diplomas, one from Unissula and the other is from the abroad university where they study while for the taken credit transfer program there will be transferred here.

“This program takes place since 2012 which aims to increase knowledge and experience of learning in other countries. In addition, Unissula also received exchange students from abroad such as from the Dutch RUAS who conduct research at Unissula “explained Muna.
